Questions from the table

The notes below cover how the rice, oils, spices, and other staples are packed, shipped, and kept.

Rice, millets, pulses, oils, ghee, and spices are dry goods and ship by courier in 3–5 days. Kashaya powder is the exception: it is packed at 100 grams. Everything else in the shop is sold by the kilogram.

Most of the shop is loose staples sold by the kilogram: rice, millets, pulses, dal, flours, rava, flakes, seeds, spices, jaggery, and salt. Oils and ghee are priced by the kilogram as well. Kashaya powder is a 100 gram pack.

The shop is natural groceries from Karnataka: heritage rice, millets, cold-pressed oils, desi ghee, jaggery, honey, and spices. Where a lot carries a certification, that note stays with the product.

Keep cold-pressed oils and desi ghee in a cool cupboard, away from the stove. Honey may crystallize; set the jar in warm water and it will loosen, and please do not microwave it. Rice, millets, pulses, and flours belong in airtight jars.

Tell us within five days and we replace packs or bottles that leak, break, or spoil in transit. Because these are food, we cannot take back opened goods.
